Why the Congestion Charge?

The congestion charge is aimed at addressing this issue by funding infrastructure improvements. The company has stated that the charge is temporary and will be removed once network capacity is improved. Additionally, if customers return their Starlink hardware within 30 days, the congestion charge will be refunded.
